Zvi Chowers

Zvi is a founding partner of Glusman, Chowers, Lahat & Co. Zvi holds an LL.B. and a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Zvi was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1983 and began his professional career at Yigal Arnon & Co. as an intern, attorney and partner. In 1993, Zvi

joined Ofer Glusman to co-found Glusman Chowers & Co., which in 2019 became Glusman, Chowers, Lahat & Co. Zvi’s primary areas of expertise are litigation, arbitration and mediation in all areas of commercial law and intellectual property law. Zvi also serves as an arbitrator and mediator in civil disputes in the fields of commerce, corporations, intellectual property and real estate. Zvi also focuses his practice on real estate, planning and construction, and the various facets of the high-tech industry, such as all branches of intellectual property law, business-to-business contracts in Israel and abroad, and dealings with the Chief Scientist. Zvi has a reputation for assisting companies undergoing difficulties and providing a comprehensive solution in all areas of commerce.

Ofer Glusman

Ofer is a founding partner of Glusman, Chowers, Lahat & Co. Ofer was born in Israel in 1952 and holds an LL.B. and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as an M.A. in Teaching from the Kibbutzim College. Ofer was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1983.

He began his professional career as a legal advisor for Elbit Systems, where he acquired significant experience in international transactions, mainly in the fields of industry, armament and defense. Ofer has had an independent law practice since 1990, and in 1993 co-founded Glusman Chowers & Co. with Zvi Chowers, which in 2019 would become Glusman, Chowers Lahat & Co. Ofer's primary areas of practice are international transactions involving industrial and high-tech companies, investments and guiding projects. Ofer has unique expertise in providing legal representation to companies in diverse industrial sectors, with an emphasis on the defense industry, and has many years of experience in guiding clients through the legal intricacies of defense export transactions. In this context, Ofer specializes in transactions requiring special licensing from the Israeli Defense Export Controls Agency (DECA). Ofer devotes one day a week to teaching and teaches gifted children at a junior high school in Ashkelon from a curriculum that he writes himself.

Dan Lahat

Dan is a founding partner of Glusman, Chowers, Lahat & Co. Dan coordinates the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department, and his practice focuses on M&A, regulation and corporate governance, joint ventures, technology companies, financing, commercial law, E-Commerce, foreign investments and high-tech, among other areas. In 1987 - 1989, Adv. Lahat worked at Lehman Brothers’ M&A Department in New

York. Dan was also a member of the Israeli Government’s privatization advisory team at that time. Prior to founding Dan Lahat & Co. law firm in 2007, he was a co-founder and senior party of Cohen, Lahat & Co. In 2019, he co-founded Glusman, Chowers, Lahat & Co. together with partners from the Glusman & Co. law firm. From 2008 to 2013, Adv. Lahat was a member of the Tel Aviv - Jaffa City Council on behalf of the Green Party. From 2013 to 2018, Adv. Lahat was a member of the Tel Aviv - Jaffa City Council on behalf of the Yesh Atid party. Dan served as a director of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Performing Arts Center, the Water Corporation of Tel Aviv (“Mei Avivim”), Ganei Yohoshua Ltd., and was a board member of the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. Dan currently serves as a director of the Nadav Youth Volunteer Association, Chairman of the Israeli Forum for International Documentary Co-Productions, and Chairman of the Friends of the Tel Aviv School of the Arts.

Noam Gavish

Before practicing law, Noam worked for ten years as a team leader of the Computer Development Unit of the Israel Air Force, among other positions. Anne Nahum

Anne is a managing partner in the firm, co-heads the Real Estate and Urban Renewal Department, and heads the Advertising and Media Department. Anne has a wealth of experience in the field of real estate and urban renewal in representing clients, leading and managing complex real estate transactions, from the land acquisition planning phase, through financing the acquisition, negotiating

and formulating agreements with third parties, guiding and advising clients in their dealings with financing institutions, and culminating in their registration. Anne also has a great deal of experience in the urban renewal field, and leads TAMA projects for strengthening and retrofitting aging buildings (TAMA 38/1 and 38/2) as well as evacuation-construction projects. Among other clients, Anne represents construction companies and developers alongside private clients in a full spectrum of real estate transactions and residential, retail and office building projects. In the field of advertising and media, Anne has garnered extensive experience in counseling prominent media and advertising companies in Israel, as well as other companies and entities in the fields of intellectual property protection, media and Internet. Anne represents the firm’s clients in their ongoing activities and commercial agreements and engagements, and guides them through the stage of conceptualization, implementation to handling dealings with the relevant authorities and regulators, including the Registrar of Trademarks, the Registrar of Patents, the Registrar of Databases, the various television channels and the Second Authority for Television and Radio. Miriam Hackmey

Miriam Hackmey is a partner in the firm and heads its Intellectual Property Department. Miriam holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1996. Miriam began her professional career at the firm of A.E. Kobie Refaeli

Kobie Refaeli is a managing partner and heads the firm's Labor Law Department. Kobie holds an LL.B. (with honors) from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 2003. Kobie joined Glusman Shem-Tov Chowers Broid in September 2002 as an intern. Kobie has been with the firm since 2003 as an associate attorney,

and his practice focused primarily in labor laws, commercial litigation and ongoing counseling of corporate and business clients. In 2008-2009, Kobie worked as an attorney in the labor law department of one of the largest law firms in Tel Aviv. Kobie provides legal opinions, ongoing counseling to employers and employees on labor law issues, drafts employment agreements and complex compensation plans, agreements with consultants, freelancers and service providers, handles employee rights in M&As and employee replacements, advises employers and employees in all aspects involving collective employment relations, and other issues.
