Miriam Hackmey is a partner in the firm and heads its Intellectual Property Department.
Miriam holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 1996. Miriam began her professional career at the firm of A.E. Melford in Jerusalem (1992-1998). She later joined Luzzatto & Luzzatto Patent Attorneys (1999-2007), where she advanced to the position of Head of the Trademarks Department. In 2007 Miriam joined Glusman & Co. as a partner.
Miriam’s specializes in intellectual property law, and provides professional counseling in all matters pertaining to the field, including trademarks, designs and copyrights.
Miriam has unique expertise and experience in trademark strategizing, international portfolio management and handling all IP aspects involving complex international transactions.
Miriam is an experienced litigator in proceedings before the Israeli Registrar of Patents, Designs and Trademarks as well as in guiding litigation proceedings outside of Israel through associates in various countries. Miriam represents foreign clients in Israel and Israeli clients in Israel and abroad in handling a diverse range of IP issues.
Miriam is an active member of INTA (International Trademark Association) and has been an active member of INTA committees for many years.
